CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [May 24, 2021] The City of Cathedral City has been notified that crews will be making upgrades to the traffic signals at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and Canyon Plaza on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 and Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6 am to 4 pm each day. The traffic signals will be in Red Flash Mode causing all four directions of traffic to stop before proceeding. This will create traffic delays on East Palm Canyon Drive (HWY 111). Motorists should use an alternative route such as Dinah Shore Drive for east and west travel.
