Dedication Video for Fire Station 411 in Downtown Cathedral City

On October 24, 2020, the City Council, Cathedral City Fire Department and the City Urban Revitalization Corporation (C.U.R.C.) officially dedicated the new downtown Fire Station 411 among key stakeholders. Although the public was not able to attend due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, we decided to bring the dedication ceremony to you at home.  Watch this historic moment as the $8.2 million state-of-the-art fire station officially replaced the former fire station located across the road, on the southwest corner of Buddy Rogers Avenue and Date Palm Drive. You’ll also get a view of the new $700,000 plus fire engine that will be stationed at this location to serve our city.

A Grand Opening for the fire station that will invite the community to share in the celebration will occur once the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us and restrictions are lifted.  Until then, enjoy this video!
