In partnership with the Mary Pickford Theatre and the Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission, the Kids Summer Movie Series will start on Monday, June 10th through Friday, August 2nd. The series offers low-cost and free movies geared for kids throughout the summer. On Mondays through Thursdays, ticket prices are $2.00 per movie per child or you can purchase a Summer Movie Pass for $4.00 for all eight movies per child. The movie series happens each weekday morning starting at 9:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. One movie per week. Adults must be accompanied by a child.
On Fridays, the Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission hosts the same weekly movie for free (seats are limited). You can pick up your Free Fridays Kids Summer Movie Passes at City Hall’s Front Lobby (stacked on shelf near customer service window) or at the City Public Library one week prior to the movie date. Those with passes will be allowed entry first. Walk-ups are welcome, but you may have to wait until all passes are processed and verification of available seats.
Parents and children will enjoy great family-friendly animated films like Secret Life of Pets, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, and Lego Movie 2.
