LIVE Entertainment Prohibited for All Venues

Riverside County issued an Advisory on Monday specifically pointing out that restaurants, bars, and wineries are not allowed to host LIVE entertainment under current health restriction imposed by the State Public Health Officer in order to avoid large gatherings of people outside of their households.  This includes all LIVE entertainment whether indoors or outdoors.  It specifically states that all restaurants must “close dance floors and discontinue performances such as musical or dance acts that encourage large gatherings.”

The Advisory goes on to state that concerts are considered “Stage 4” of the governor’s reopening plan, which is the last stage of total reopening.

Riverside County is asking the public to let them know of any restaurant, bar, wineries, parks or any local establishment that may be violating this order by contacting Gregory Priamos, County Counsel, at gpriamos@rivco.org, and Kelly Moran, Supervising Deputy County Counsel, at kmoran@rivco.org.
