Local Artists to Showcase Talent at Cathedral City Library’s Quarterly Art Exhibit May 24-25, 2025

The Cathedral City Public Arts Commission is proud to present its second Quarterly Art Exhibit of 2025, featuring works from talented local artists throughout the Coachella Valley.

The exhibit will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 24-25, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Cathedral City Public Library (33520 Date Palm Drive). This free event offers residents and visitors an opportunity to experience diverse artistic expressions from our desert community.

Seven selected artists will display their works in various mediums, with pieces available for purchase directly from the creators. This event continues the Public Arts Commission’s mission to promote local talent and make art accessible to everyone.

“These quarterly exhibits provide a wonderful platform for local artists to showcase their creativity while connecting with the community,” said Ryan Hunt, Communications & Events Manager for Cathedral City. “We’re excited to continue this tradition throughout 2025.”

The library setting offers a comfortable and accessible environment for art enthusiasts of all ages to engage with local talent. While the May exhibit is just weeks away, artists interested in participating in future exhibits should note the upcoming dates:

  • August 23-24, 2025 (Application deadline: July 15, 2025)
  • November 15-16, 2025 (Application deadline: October 15, 2025)

Artists residing in Cathedral City will receive preference in the selection process, though all Coachella Valley artists are encouraged to apply. There is no entrance fee for artists, and all sales are conducted directly between artists and buyers with no commission charged.
