Notice of Commission / Committee Vacancies – City of Cathedral City

The City of Cathedral City announces vacancies on several Commissions/Committees.  These terms will begin on July 1, 2018. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION NO LATER THAN MONDAY, JUNE 4, 2018, to the Office of the City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.   Applications are available at the City Hall reception desk and can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cathedralcity.gov.  City Hall is open Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THAT CITY HALL IS CLOSED EVERY FRIDAY. 1 Held as necessary to fulfill its duties at such time and place as shall be fixed by the committee.
Public Arts Commission 2


Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Planning Commission 3 Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Parks and Community Events Commission 2 Meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Finance Advisory Committee 2 Meets once per year at a date and time to be determined.
Palm Springs International Airport Commission 1 Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the conference room, second floor of Terminal Building at the Palm Springs International Airport.


Note: Per the Cathedral City Municipal Code, you must be a registered voter and resident of Cathedral City to be considered for any of the above vacancies with the exception two seats on the Public Arts Commission and two seats on the Architectural Review Committee.  Each term is for three years unless a non- resident is appointed to a Commission, their term shall be one year.
