Traffic Advisory: Agua Caliente Fueling Station Construction Impacting East Palm Canyon Drive

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is constructing a new fueling station along East Palm Canyon Drive in Cathedral City. The project requires temporary traffic modifications in the area.

East Palm Canyon Drive (Hwy 111)

Traffic on East Palm Canyon Drive is currently reduced to one westbound lane between Date Palm Drive and Van Fleet Drive. The road is expected to be fully widened and reopened by April 3, 2026, ahead of the Coachella Festival.

Monty Hall Drive

Additional work on Monty Hall Drive will begin after the 10th Annual Cathedral City LGBT+ Days (March 6–8, 2026). Northbound traffic will be closed during construction, but southbound will remain open throughout.

What You Need to Know

Drivers should plan ahead and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area. Please drive with caution and be aware of workers and equipment in the construction zone.
