In addition to Cathedral City LGBT Days (March 25-27), there are two more important LGBTQ+ Days to recognize during the month of March. They include:
March 20 (1st Day of Spring): National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
On the first day of spring each year, we are encouraged to spotlight the National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day that brings awareness to the fact that HIV/AIDS affects everyone including Native people. March 31: Transgender Day of Visibility
The Transgender Day of Visibility happens throughout the world to highlight the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. It is a day to recognize the contribution, successes, and the many barriers that transgender people overcome in their journey towards equality.
