Virtual “State of the City” Happens on May 25th

Hosted by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Raymond Gregory will present a virtual “State of the City” on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 beginning at 10 am.  You can view the live stream by going to www.DiscoverCathedralCity.com and then clicking on the State of the City – Watch Now.  The chamber will first conduct their business awards honoring local businesses as well as the Mayor’s award recognizing a business or individual who exemplifies local values and excellence.  Once the award portion is completed, Mayor Raymond Gregory will showcase the latest economic development projects in the city and share information about the city’s future.  Several videos by fellow councilmembers will also discuss important improvements made over the last year or so and how our crime rate has fallen substantially ranking Cathedral City in the Top 50 Safest Cities in California.  The theme of this year’ address is “Back to Life”
