Cooling Centers Open for Forecasted Heat Wave
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the Coachella Valley starting on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 am thru at least Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Temperatures are predicted to range from 110 degrees to 120 degrees.
Residents should take precautions during their time outdoors by wearing light weight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water. The heat wave can cause health related illnesses those most susceptible.
