Due to a flash flood, the following roads are temporarily closed in Cathedral City:
Northbound Date Palm Drive at I-10 to Varner Road
Varner Road westbound to Palm Drive
Vista Chino at the wash
Flooding has been reported as well at:
Ramon Road and Date Palm Drive
Avenida Maravila and 30th Avenue
City crews are working throughout the city determining the level of flooding, flood damage, and clean-up needed. Crews will begin removing the flood debris as soon as possible.
