Cathedral City High School’s 2022 Homecoming Parade Brings Excitement to Downtown

The City of Cathedral City was honored to participate in the 2022 Cathedral City High School Homecoming Parade in Downtown on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022. Mayor Pro Tem Rita Lamb, Council Member Mark Carnevale, Council Member Nancy Ross, and Council Member Raymond Gregory all rode golf carts along the parade route.

The annual parade started near Perez Road on Cathedral Canyon Drive and went south to Avenida Lalo Guerrero. The parade route ended in front of City Hall and the Cathedral City Civic Center where the Homecoming Pep Rally continued festivities into the evening.

Cathedral City High School’s Homecoming Parade featured Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) Board of Trustees, City Council of Cathedral City, the Homecoming King and Queen nominees, football team, cheerleading squad, ballet folklorico dancers, and marching band. The event also includes middle and elementary school students from within PSUSD.
