Join Cathedral City Police May 16, 2023, for Military Equipment Community Meeting

The Cathedral City Police Department will be hosting its annual Military Equipment meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Study Session Room located on the first floor of City Hall, 68700 Ave Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.

Effective January 1, 2022, Assembly Bill (AB) 481 requires law enforcement agencies to obtain approval of the applicable governing body (City Council), by adoption of a military equipment use policy prior to taking certain actions relating to the funding, acquisition, or use of military equipment, as defined.

The mission of the Cathedral City Police Department is to provide the community with progressive and professional police services dedicated to ensure public order, a sense of community well-being and a responsiveness with integrity and excellence.
