Police Department Donates Trailer to CCHS Marching Band

In February, the City Council authorized the Police Department to donate a 2003 Wells Cargo trailer to the Cathedral City High School Marching Band.  On Wednesday, Police Chief Crum donated the gently used enclosed trailer from the police department’s fleet surplus to the high school band.

CCHS Director of Bands Matthew Howe accepted the trailer that will be used to haul student instruments and electronic equipment to band competition throughout the state.  Mr. Howe was accompanied by Thomas Lehn, President of the CCHS Band Boosters; Manuel Flores-Espinoza parent of a band student and city employee; and Michael Walla with Cathedral City Fleet Operations.
