Public Arts Commission Invites Local Artists to Showcase Talent at Cathedral City Library’s 2026 Quarterly Art Exhibits

The Cathedral City Public Arts Commission is proud to announce its 2026 Quarterly Art Exhibit series, featuring works from talented local artists throughout the Coachella Valley.

Artists from Cathedral City are invited to participate in a series of Quarterly Art Exhibits at the Cathedral City Library (33520 Date Palm Drive). Ten artists will be selected to show at each event, with all exhibits running on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This free event offers residents and visitors an opportunity to experience diverse artistic expressions from our desert community.

New for 2026, each exhibit will feature a reception on the Friday evening before the show, giving art enthusiasts an exclusive preview opportunity.

“These quarterly exhibits provide a wonderful platform for local artists to showcase their creativity while connecting with the community,” said Ryan Hunt, Communications & Events Manager for Cathedral City. “We’re excited to continue this tradition into 2026.”

Artists will be designated a space to display art that will safely fit into the space allowed. Tables and chairs will be provided by the library; artists will provide their own display easels, hanging racks, or pedestals. Artists must be present during the entire event.

Artists may apply for multiple shows, however the Public Arts Commission will try to accommodate as many different artists as possible throughout the year.
