Wings, Wildflowers, and Wonder: City of Cathedral City and S.C.R.A.P. Gallery Host Annual Butterfly Festival March 14, 2026

The City of Cathedral City and S.C.R.A.P. Gallery invite the community to celebrate butterflies and pollinators at the annual Butterfly Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Panorama Park. This free, family-friendly event features hands-on activities, environmental education, and community fun for all ages.

S.C.R.A.P. Gallery will lead several creative and educational activities throughout the morning, including the Wings, Wings, Wings! Pollinator Exhibit, wildflower and milkweed seedlings, Moth Madness, and recycled crafts.

Visitors to the Cathedral City Library booth can sign up for a library card, participate in crafts, and receive special giveaways. Attendees can also pick up a fun and fact-filled butterfly book, courtesy of Cathedral City Evening Rotary.

Environmental and community organizations will have booths on-site, offering resources and information for residents. The festival will also feature the National Wildlife Federation of Mayors’ Monarch Pledge Proclamation and a butterfly release.

Kids can explore all the activities and enter for a chance to win a bicycle in a kids-only drawing.
