Celebrate Butterflies and Pollinators at S.C.R.A.P. Gallery’s Free Butterfly Festival on Saturday, March 16, 2024

Celebrate butterflies and pollinators with free S.C.R.A.P. Gallery activities at this year’s Butterfly Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Panorama Park in Cathedral City! Panorama Park is located at 28905 Avenida Maravilla, Cathedral City, CA 92234.

Visit the Cathedral City Library booth to sign up for a library card, crafts, and giveaways. Pick up the fun and fact-filled book, “The Truth About Butterflies” by Maxwell Eaton III, courtesy of Cathedral City Evening Rotary & Mayor Mark Carnevale.

S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, located at 68743 Perez Rd # D16, Cathedral City, CA 92234, is the only children’s art and environmental conservation museum in Coachella Valley, and the only one of its kind in Riverside County, CA. The facility allows for creative expression and education to take place.

Improving the quality of Cathedral City’s outside spaces remains a top priority for the City Council. One of the key components that makes parks and outdoor facilities so special is that they’re free for the public to use and provide memorable gathering places for families and people of all ages and backgrounds.

A total of 9 community parks are located within Cathedral City’s boundaries and there’s another on the horizon. City parks and outdoor open space improve our physical and psychological health, strengthen communities, and make our neighborhoods more attractive places to live, work and play.
